Jennifer (Jenn) Burke, chairperson of the Irish Learning Technology Association (ILTA) passed away on 29th June this year following a bravely fought 5 1/2 year battle against cancer. Jenn was a significant force behind the development and growth of ILTA and also contributed significantly to the Irish National Digital Learning Repository (NDLR) project. Jenn was involved in planning ALT's 2006 Spring conference.

Jenn was lively, intelligent, vivacious, energetic, optimistic and dedicated to her work as a Learning Technologist in Dublin City University (DCU). Her interest in and commitment to learning technology was defined by passion and unceasing dedication to advancing this area. Jenn will be sadly missed by friends and colleagues in DCU and across Ireland.
