About: I'm particularly interested in Web2.0 to support (informal) learning - especially when it's been self initiated by students.
I've just spent two years as a Faculty e-Learning Co-ordinator - which involved me in supporting staff using the VLE. My personal view of the VLE is that while it's not quite the evil overlord some would suggest, it's more of the filing cabinet of the eLearning world - one that needs supplementing with a few more interesting things.
When not working, I have a great wanderlust.

What topics are you an expert in? - Fully agree that it's hard to know what I consider myself an expert in ... all the things I initially think of for my profile, I instantly think of many others who're going to be at ALT-C who're in the A-stream, where I'm still in Kindergarten for that particular field. So, I have an un-populated profile at present. Perhaps we should fill in our friends profiles! What we consider them to be experts in.
