About: I have worked for the Open University for over 25 years, initially in the Biological Sciences Department of the Science Faculty (my academic background is in Biology) and then for the last 5 years in the Faculty of Health and Social Care. I have had a strong interest in computer-based learning for many years and started developing multimedia materials on CD-ROM in the early 1990s. My current role mainly centres around e-learning and I am responsible for the development of a faculty repository of shared online resources and the integration of these resources into courses. I am particularly interested in the development of computing and information literacy skills.
