About: Currently working on the WLab project at Kingston University, which delivers self-contained workshop sessions for ICT teaching using virtual machines as learning objects. Previously worked on the FETLAR project, delivering QTI-based electronic assessment authoring applications for maths. Virtualisation was also used there in the shape of the FETLAR Virtual Appliance, a fully self-contained image which encapsulated all the technical and content resources delivered by FETLAR in a portable form.
