About: I am a senior lecturer in the School of Nursing, at the University of Hertfordshire, Hatfield, where I have worked for the last 7 years teaching Tissue Viability and Wound Care to BSc and Masters students. I am passionate about nursing and wound care but also have a keen interest in the experiences of mature students in HE. Two years ago I researched the experiences of mature students using learning technologies in HE; this year myself and a colleague, Irene Anderson researched the views of students using Blogs as part of their summative assessment. I hope the conference will put me in touch with like-minded people as well as enable me to see what is around the corner in the world of learning technologies.
