About: Linzi J Kemp Ph.D., Manchester Metropolitan University; M.B.A., Brunel University; B.Ed. (Business), University of Huddersfield; Diploma in Marketing, Chartered Institute of Marketing; Higher National Certificate (Business), British Technical Education Council.
Linzi is faculty with American University of Sharjah. In the School of Business and Management, teaching Organizational Behavior and Leadership
Previously Faculty Associate with the Center for Distance Learning, Empire State College, State University of New York. Working collaboratively with administrators, directors and faculty to increase the academic quality of the student experience. As department chair, Linzi coordinated the business program, recruiting faculty, supervising course development, managing the program resources. She has taught and mentored students for the college nationally, and in International Programs.
Previous experience as an educator has been in schools, colleges and universities in the areas of management; organizational theory and behavior; marketing.  In Dubai (United Arab Emirates), Linzi taught business, was professional development coordinator and divisional academic team leader.  In the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, she expanded and managed the information technology department at Dhahran Academy.  At a teacher training college in the People's Republic of China, she trained high school and in-service teachers.  Originally from the UK, Linzi has worked there in administrative, management roles in private and public organizations within the fields of education, retail and the health service.

Frank McLoughlin - Principal of City and Islington College, Martin Hall - Vice-Chancellor of the University of Salford (2 Invited Speakers 0601, 0602) - The quality of an educational system cannot exceed the quality of it's teachers (McKinsey,2007). Significant quote via frank. Added significance is that it's from a business consultant rather than an educator.
