Innovating in teaching with an intelligent design environment (Workshop 0087) - Are you interested in the problem of how we share learning designs. The LDSE (learning design support environment) project is exploring ways of doing this. One idea is to offer teachers pre-existing pedagogical patterns, in both generic and specific forms. You could try this yourself: browse the patterns, adapt them – see how it feels. Innovating in teaching with an intelligent design environment (Workshop 0087) - On ownerships - as long as I can adapt what others have done, and build in my own content, or edit existing content, I'm delighted to be able to take on existing designs. But too often existing open resources are not easy to adapt.

Innovating in teaching with an intelligent design environment (Workshop 0087) - yes, when I used a social science role-play design for eliciting better questions from a maths group. I kept the format in full. There is much to learn from the teaching ideas practised in other disciplines. That kind of cross-fertilisation should be valuable for all of us. We ought to be able to share more than the idea of a 'lecture' or 'tutorial'.
