About: Since 1997 I have been working in the area of e-learning: From 1997 to 2005 as a research scientist in several e-learning-projects, e.g. the Virtual University of Applied Sciences. From 2006 to 2008 I was acting leader of the E-Learning-Center at the Ruhr-University Bochum. In May 2008 I started to work at the Knowledge Media Research Center (kmrc) in Tuebingen as a co-leader in the project e-teaching.org. This project aims to develop an information and qualification platform for e-teachers in institutions of higher education in German speaking countries. I am interested in the development and implementation of media-based learning in higher education focusing on educational design, organisational aspects and quality management.
