About: I'm the E-Learning Systems Team Manager in IT Services at Loughborough University.

Our team is responsible for running and hosting many of the E-Learning (and related) systems at the University, including our VLE (now in its 11th year, and running on Moodle), e-assessment system (QuestionMark Perception), OMR-based assessment system, and many other tools and resources developed locally (many of which one or more of us have been involved in developing).

These include RAPID, DART, HELM, BestMaths, Easimap, MathCentre, MathTutor and others that don't spring instantly to mind. Google them for more info!

We also look after the Lecture Capture systems at Loughborough, Echo 360 and Opencast Matterhorn. Loughborough is the UK basecamp for Matterhorn, as part of the Steeple BR project.

We also work with the wider E-Learning team as part of the E-Learning Operations Group, to develop and implement new ideas.

We've also been involved with work for the Engineering CETL, Maths CETL and the Higher Education Academy Engineering Subject Centre, amongst others.

Lindsay Jordan:

...I rather think they're more likely to think I *am* the security...

Lindsay Jordan:

...I *am* now wondering whether to walk around in it all morning or merely hit people with it at lunchtime. I'm tending towards the latter...

Lindsay Jordan:

I can't believe you've guessed my Pecha Kucha costume from that teeny tiny clue, Rich... are you some kind of evil genius?!! :D

Seb Schmoller:

Yes. Good idea. I emailed all of "my" PK presenters and have had one response so far, which I take to mean all are super relaxed and confident.....

Seb Schmoller:

Rich. Worth liaising informally about PK sessions. I've had the "pleasure" of preparing one so I have gained a feel for what it may be like from the presenter's end. Seb
