About: I work at Glasgow University in the Learning & Teaching Centre providing a strategic steer in learning technology and heading up two areas; Learning & Technology, and Media Production. The Learning & Technology Unit (LTU) runs a number of university learning technology services including Moodle & Mahara. The Media Production Unit (MPU) provides an in-house broadcast quality television production service and has a multi camera studio and non linear editing facilities.
I was a Stage Manager before coming into HE in 1994 - equipped me with some very useful transferable skills! HE Background in audio-visual and classroom technologies, managing IT systems, moving analogue services to a digital platform (video, audio, photography, web services and also learning technologies.
