About: David wrote his first program on the ZX81 age 9 and his first computer game on the ZX Spectrum. After graduating from Strathclyde University in 1993 he worked as a Database programmer doing work for the likes of Land Rover and Glasgow City Council. For the past 12 years he has been lecturing in Computing at Reid Kerr College mainly in Games Development. Recently he has become increasingly interested in the role that educational computer games can play in the classroom and has developed a number of educational games making use of gaming technology such as wireless controllers and Kinect.
