About: I'm responsible for managing the use of the VLE in a small social science Department at the University of York. I've been in this role for three years, overseeing adoption of a 'baseline' approach by all staff and encouraging engagement with technologies with a focus on the student learning experience. I am also involved in skills and social media training, support administrative systems with technology and collaborate with staff to evaluate their use of technology. My paper at ALT-C 2012 will discuss the approaches I have taken in finding out about students' experience of LTs to inform future practice. Take a look at my website for further information and recent projects.
