About: Chris Follows joined the University of the Arts London UAL in 2003 and since 2007 has been researching and developing open educational practice and OER content communities.
Chris is the DIAL project manager 'Digital Integration Into Arts Learning' part of the JISC UK Developing digital literacies programme and Technical Coordinator for digital media, print and photography at Chelsea college of art design.
Chris has recently completed a SCORE fellowship at the Open University and is the initiator of http://process.arts.ac.uk and has been involved in the JISC UKOER programmes phases 2 & 3 ALTO & ALTO UK. Chris' work is increasingly attracting national and international recognition, he has won funding from JISC and the OU, and works on UAL's Open Educational Practice advancements, building on UALs growing reputation as forward thinking university in this newly developing area. He is very much in demand at conferences to demonstrate different strands of his activities.
