About: Expert in Advanced Human Computer Interaction, Computer Programming and Learning Technologies I have over fifteen years experience as a Lecturer in user centered aspects of Computer Science.
Having taught large classes at all levels in Higher Education for over fifteen years, I am skilled in course design and management, marketing and engagement and pastoral care of students. My practical teaching skills are highly rated by students and I take a pragmatic approach to problem solving whilst working towards strategic goals.
I am an accomplished innovative researcher with an up to date record of publications which support my academic and practical work. I lead teaching innovation by example within group and encourage colleagues and students to expand their traditional approaches to learning. I have a talent for improving public impact of our work and enjoy organising and participating in public engagement activities to the benefit of my subject and the organisation.
